I started collaboration with the University of Groningen as a PhD candidate. During the project I was involved in collaboration with MERCK and GSK. The research was done in the MJFF consortium. The aim of my PhD project was to develop a new structural surrogate of the kinase domain of LRRK2, protein which is one of the main pharmacological targets in the treatment of Parkinson's Disease.
